I to am in a relationship with a positive partner and feel that what we have is very special. I’m going to pursue help from a counselor and find out all the safe ways were as a couple can enjoy our relationship. Thank you for your insight Annonymous dated Feb 5th 2009 your blog was very helpful.

I recently found out that someone who I have liked for a while is positive. This honestly does not change the way I feel about him. I am not ignorant about HIV/AIDS as I work in the medical field. I just can’t turn my feelings off for someone like that. I makes me want to peruse him even more, yet give him space as he recently found out. I am not sure, I am always there for him to call and text which he does.. but I don’t know If i should tell him that his status does not change the way I feel about him. Anyone have any thoughts on this ?

The only problem with Trojan is that their condoms literally stink of latex. A huge turnoff for many people. Durex is a lot more tolerable..

Or maybe its just the fact that information on using a condom while uncircumcised isn’t that out in the open. all examples show circumsied penises. Then when trying to use it it slips off, but he is too embarassed to ask for help because he is afraid the world will think he has some sort of penis deformity. In that case he couldn’t use a condom, because he wasn’t shown how yet. he can’t, as in was unable too cause he didn’t know what he was doing. So assuming its just that hes being a man who doesn’t want to use it is a bit harsh i think. Thanks for this site. hopefully it works for me!

This is awesome! This program needs to be introduced to a much wider range of high schools since it seems to be having such a great success rate. I’m so happy to find out that something is working as this is a very disturbing problem among teenagers.

Some men are allergic to certain types of condoms (latex, I think) but there are alternative ones for them. There are hundreds of different types of condom though so there will always be one that COULD be used… they probably just dont wanna use one :os
